First, you can do with ordinary household tools such as scissors, garden shears, craft knives etc. If you have only one or two trees, you can use improvised instruments until you want to manage. But if you become a real hobby bonsai, you own set of tools to build bonsai. Where they are interested in bonsai tools, buy the cheaper it is surely a false economy. Bonsai tools are expensive at the best of times, so cheap are rarely very cheap and the poorQuality disappoint. Look for a brand of Japanese instruments provide nothing fancy, just black.
Done properly, will last a lifetime.
Wire.
You can try to recover some copper cables from power cables or telephone, then annealing heated hot and let it cool slowly - and then you have to wash the soot. On the other hand, while you might of money for tools, just as easily pick up some yarn at the same time.
Wire is used toPlanning offices (see page 46), and from this common garden wire - is green plastic-iron too rigid and is sure to damage the bark when it is applied. Traditionally, one of the wires annealed copper or brown anodized aluminum wire used.
Copper hardens, it is bent, so it has taken more of aluminum - ideal for springier branches of conifers. The aluminum wire is softer for more delicate branches less elastic deciduous trees. That said, aluminum is usuallycheaper and works well if you use a thicker copper.
There are nine classes of aluminum wire, ranging from 1 mm to 6 mm. Copper wire size varies from provider to provider, but are more or less equivalent.
First, you should buy small packets of smaller sizes. If you know the size of work, the more you need to go for larger coils.
Other equipment.
When repotting time is reached, must sieve to remove dust and other coarse particles from the floorIngredients. A series of three with the mesh size of 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm will be much for most small and medium-sized enterprises bonsai. Bonsai in pots need larger dirt particles larger, so that an additional screen could be useful with a 6 mm mesh size. A scoop bonsai soil makes life easier at this time too.
They also have a bonsai root hook and some chopsticks (or a substitute such as Western knitting needles) to tease the roots. Japanese bonsai root hook is a bit 'too brutal for mostTrees, and small screens with tweezers at the other end are only useful for weed control of the pot. My favorite root hook is what I made from a piece of 4-mm-m steel and an old chisel handle more than 20 years.
A turntable is invaluable for cutting, wiring, or simply watch your bonsai. Then, some all-singing, all-dancing Japanese Bonsai Turntable:
available, but they are very expensive. A cake decorator or an old plastic turntable turntables TV is fakewell.
There are many other useful gadgets smaller, you can collect along the way, but here discussed are those which, if not essential, it is difficult to do without.
